And a key clip makes a great gift, especially if someone you love needs a little nudge to stop losing their keys.

Trying to decide between the key lanyard and the key clip? If you want a keychain that you can clip onto the interior strap in your tote, we'd recommend the key lanyard. (It features a button stud so that you can open it up and loop it onto the strap.) If you want a keychain that's a little more pocket-friendly, then you can't go wrong with the key clip.

Description

All of the earliest KMM & Co. designs were born out of utility and necessity (which still guide us each time we design something new). We produced a tote bag to carry vintage cameras and extra sweaters on weekend drives around Georgia. We perfected a flap wallet to corral cards and cash both at home and while traveling. And we designed the key clip to keep house keys and car keys from getting lost.

This minimal classic features heavyweight leather, a hand-set copper rivet, and weighty nickel hardware. We’ve spent years road-testing our original designs because we still use and love all of them today. That includes the key clip.

It may not be as playful as our emoji-embossed circle key fobs. And it may not have the same retro appeal as our hotel key fobs. But the key clip appeals to our nostalgia for a time when everything was built to last and nothing was considered disposable. It may not be fancy or expensive, but especially when you know that it will last you a lifetime, it feels luxurious in its own way.
